Frank Trento

Obituary of Frank A. Trento

Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Frank A. Trento, 61, Kriswood Dr., Floyd, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his home.

He was born on July 27, 1963, in Rome, the son of Frank J. and Theresa (DiNardo) Trento.  He was a 1981 graduate of Oriskany High School and went on to attend college locally, pursuing a degree in Psychology.

On August 10, 2018, Frank was united in marriage to Linda M. Waller in Rome. Although they were married in 2018, Frank and Linda were able to spend 22 years of their lives together.

A lifelong resident of the area, Frank was a mason-tile setter and a member of the Bricklayer and Allied Craft Workers Union #2 in Albany for over thirty years. He was an incredibly skilled tile setter, learning his trade from his father. He worked on numerous local businesses and homes in the Rome area. Frank's work took him to many different states, including Massachusetts and New Hampshire, which were both places he loved and where he spent several years of his life.

Frank enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and was an avid reader. He was intelligent and could answer any question you asked, whether it be about nature, music, history, or anything in-between. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially on Christmas Eve. It was a night he looked forward to every year, to be able to spend time with all of his loved ones. Frank was a kind, loving, giving person: if he had it and you needed it, it was yours. He never counted favors or expected anything in return. Due to his kind nature, Frank was known and loved by many.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Linda; are his children, Jillianna Trento, of Boonville, Corina Trento, of Rome, Mirranda Trento, of Rome, and Sabrina (Justin) Cruikshank, of Rome; a stepson, Christopher (Jill) Hanrahan, of Taberg; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Potter, of Alder Creek; two brothers, Thomas (Jackie) Trento, of NH, and Donald Trento, of Naples, FL; and twelve grandchildren. He was a lifelong friend of the Ciotti's, whom he called family.

Frank was predeceased by both of his parents, as well as several close friends and relatives.

Family and friends are invited and may call on December 3rd, 2024 between the hours of 2pm and 5pm, at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N.
