Obituary of Gregory A. Ross

Gregory A. Ross, 65, of Rome, passed away October 13, 2024 after a brief illness. He was born on July 27, 1959, in Albion, NY, to William and Wanda (Earl) Ross. Greg lived most of his life in the Rome area working for several auto repair businesses. Throughout Greg's life he took enjoyment in playing pool, riding motorcycles, and playing cards with family and friends. 

He is survived by two sons, Gregory Jr. and Matthew Ross; two daughters, Christy Vongkhamchanh and Amy Strohl; a sister, Ginny Millson; three brothers, Terry Ross (Tracy), Tim Ross (Cindy) and Junior Burdick (Patty); and several grandchildren, neices and nephews. Greg will also be missed by his close extended family members, Donnie, Ilene Amrhein, and his mother-in-law, Carolyn Prosser. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Wanda;a brother, Billy Ross; nephew Billy Ray Ross; and a special uncle, Albert Burdick. 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 18th at 11:00 a.m. at Rathbunnville Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
