Obituary of Barbara H. Bunnell

Barbara H. Bunnell, 85, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. She was born at home in Vienna on September 8, 1939, a daughter of Clarence and Sophia (Walker) Holmes. She was a graduate of Camden High School.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law; five sisters, Martha Story (Robert), Mary Barker (Donald), Wilma Pownall, Lorna Barok (Frank), and Della Wood (Joel); two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister, Linda Holmes; and two brothers, Warren and Aaron Holmes.

Private services will be held at the convenience of family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Barbara’s memory to the Humane Society of Rome or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden NY 13316.
