Obituary of Herbert H. Cronizer, Jr.

Herbert H. Cronizer, Jr., 68, of Durhamville, passed away on September 25, 2024, at Oneida Healthcare. He was born in Rome on August 6, 1956, a son of the late Herbert and Theresa (Heburn) Cronizer, Sr. On November 15, 1975, he was united in marriage to Laura Hammon.

Herb was a truck driver for several local companies for many years. He loved working on the farm and raising and training beagles for field trial competitions. He enjoyed traveling and camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Laura, is a daughter, Melissa Cronizer (Tim Green); two sons, Herbert III (Heidi) and Willard (Nicole Vaillencourt); two sisters, Irene Rapasadi and Alberta Cronizer (Renee Bledsoe); a brother, Keith Cronizer; six grandchildren, Jessika, Karley, Ian, Lily, Emma, and Jonathon; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
