Michael R. Crever, 59, of Remsen, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Grand of Rome, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Rome on September 8, 1965. On December 31, 2001, he was united in marriage to Dawn Lokker.

Mike and his twin brother, Mark, owned and operated Crever’s Creatures for several years. Most recently he was a Damage Prevention Watch Guard for USIC, a contractor for National Grid.

Mike enjoyed music and liked to sing. He was a big fan of the New York Knicks. However, he was happiest when surrounded by family, especially going fishing with his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Dawn, is a son, Shawn Crever (Amber); two sisters, Bernadine Croniser (Dennis) and Lisa Coleman (Ron Carson); three brothers, Mark Crever, Ronald Crever, and Nick Truman; four stepchildren, Danielle Rayhell (Tony), Cori Koenig, Alexander Linares, and Caitlyn Morrain (Mario); ten grandchildren, Guiliana, Brayden, Jadyn, Giovanni, Owen, Aubrey, Jaxson, Ayva, Hannah and Grayson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Stephen Crever.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
