I had the pleasure to share some really quality time with her when she was down here in Hobe Sound spending some time at the Destitos’ house, I would drive her to buy some chocolate, and we would stop to see the ocean, we would have great conversations about growing up, family etc.. One of the things that we really enjoyed doing was watching some old movies in the afternoon, I was always amazed by her knowledge about the actors and the movies, it was just like reading a history book! She was also one of the only people that would call to wish me happy birthday, if I could not get the phone she would leave me a message. People like Margaret come to our lives to show how amazing a human being can be, kind, funny, lived and loving to share her stories and experiences. A couple of years ago while looking for Irish repertory to record a little CD to my 3 year old daughter, I remembered that Oh Danni Boy” was one Margaret’s favorite So I recorded that song and I’m pretty sure the day my daughter grows up and ask about my selection I will happily share a story about Margaret.
