There are so many wonderful stories and memories to be shared about Uncle Don from everyone he met over the past 94 years. Some of my fondest memories of Uncle Don growing up include, playing horse shoes, bowling, ping pong, cook outs, eating his famous home made fudge and talking about the New York Yankees! Uncle Don’s love for family, friends and zest for life will always be remembered. Our sincerest condolences to Aunt Sue and family. Greg and Karen Briggs

Don was a great friend to us.We have many great memory’s with him.While most people remember him for his famous fudge and passing out hot balls we have a different memory that he taught us.which was how to park a bigger car into a small parking place.Rest in peace

Uncle Don was the one person you could always count on to be there for whatever you needed. Any time I came to visit, Don and Sue insisted we could stay with them. He loved to play, and I loved to play with him, weather it was horseshoes ,bowling, cards, even basketball, he was ready to go. He was and forever will be, One of a kind and I thank God he was part of my family

I fondly remember Uncle Don and Aunt Sues wonderful hospitality, Greg and I would often go to their house with Chrissy and Colleen on Sunday afternoon to chat and have a guaranteed fun day. One day Greg and Don went hunting and much to Sues surprise the only hunting that was done was to shoot her wooden rabbit in the yard, we all laughed an kept visiting. When Don came into the house he would then get out his fudge pot a processed to make his famous fudge. Of course everyone was happy his fudge was unbelievably delicious. Of course it was Sunday night and popcorn was a necessity. We all enjoy the day so much we would often head to Don and Sues. No words can describe Don he was an original down to earth wonderful person he will be missed. God bless the family.
