Dick was sort of a quiet guy. He was an extremely intelligent person who was constantly educating himself. He was interesting to talk to and always made sure you were having a good time.As a brother-in-law, he was a wonderful husband to my sister, Darlene, and her life was so much better with him in it. He followed God and their home was loving in which they raised three terrific sons; Richard, Paul and Joseph, who carry on their father’s legacy. May God be with them and their families providing strength and peace to get through this great loss. Dick, I know Darlene is waiting at the gate for you! You will be missed by all who knew you.
It with deep sadness that I write this memory of Dick Schneible - a true gentleman and a great scholar. I met DIck on my first day at Rome Labs - I will be forever grateful for his great kindness to a new graduate finding his way in a new environment. We worked together for several years, even after I left for Toronto. But, I have particularly fond memories of just chatting with him - and the lovely dinner we had at the Schneible residence! He will be missed.
