Obituary of Taun C. Carpenter-Webb

 Taun Coulter Carpenter-Webb born January 10, 1953, to Jack and Betty (Coulter) Butler in Onieda ,New York, died peacefully in her family home on Sunday evening May 19th 2024. Taun is survived by her Loving husband Michael Webb, Son Jerrad Carpenter (Michele), Daughters Danielle Rutledge (Patrick), Alexis Allen (Justin), and Noelani Webb. With unselfish love she leaves behind ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by her Mother Joan Butler and  loving brothers Scott and Mark Butler.

 Taun received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Utica College and devoted her New York State career to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities. She loved the outdoors and the adventures of travel. Aside Mike they spent nearly a decade raising their family overseas in Herforst, Germany during Michaels twenty-year Air Force career. Europe and the many memorable adventures they shared were one of Taun’s life’s highlights. She was a woman of strength and great intensity always finding time to expand her knowledge of life and literature. She would often spend her time at their family camp in Forestport, New York where she enjoyed hunting and the tranquility of a good novel mixed with the Adirondack air she loved so. Her Love and devotion to family will forever be missed.

 We welcome Family and Friends to join us at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc.,  9464 NY Rt. 13, Camden New York 13316, on Wednesday May 29th, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00pm.
