It is with true sadness that I think of how much Leo will be missed, not just by myself but by all who knew him. He was an honest and conscientious man for whom dedication and quality were true trademarks. I worked with Leo for 40 years and from the moment in the morning when he first rolled into the garage on his big yellow motorcycle til the end of each day, he would strive to provide each customer with highest quality service. As a coworker, whenever we had a 2 man job to complete together, I always welcomed Leo as the 2nd man, knowing his hard work and dedication to quality would mean a job finished on time and well done. The same was true for his many Tuesdays spent as the 2nd man at Fred’s woodshop, quietly waiting for Fred’s final inspection of his work, which because of his diligence and dedication to quality was always the very best. His dedication to other people was perhaps his most wonderful trademark of all, though. From entertaining the other retirees at Tuesday coffee with his many adventures at the casino with his brother Carl, to his obvious and steadfast devotion as husband and father, Leo always put those he cared about above everything else. We will all surely miss his quiet but ever smiling face. He will be remembered always.
