Name: Frances P. Racquet Date of Death: Wednesday, September 17, 2008 Residence: Rome, NY Age: 75 Obituary: Frances P. Racquet, 75, of 8307 E. Floyd Road, Rome, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Betsy Ross Nursing Home. She was born September 3, 1933 in Utica the daughter of Walter and Helen Tabor Paciorak. Mrs. Racquet was a graduate of Whitesboro Central High School. On December 14, 1973 she married Philip Racquet. Frances was employed by US Care and previously was employed by Mele Manufacturing. Frances' family would to express their gratitude to the staff at Betsy Ross Rehabilitation Center for the care and compassion shown to her during her time there. Surviving besides her husband, Philip are two stepdaughters and a step-son-in-law, Cheri and Mac McFann, Clark Mills; Debbie Kryczkowski, Rome; four stepsons and step-daughters-in-law, Michael and Gladys Racquet, Blossvale; Philip Racquet and Leonard and Brenna Racquet, all of Floyd; Daniel Racquet, Daytona, Florida; one sister, Theresa Szkotak, Sacramento, California; one brother, Richard Szkotak; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Tom Wojcik. Frances was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking and cooking. Services: Graveside services will be held Monday 3:00P.M. at Floyd Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made in Frances's memory to the American Cancer Society.
