Ed was and always will be one of the greatest men I’ve ever known. His generosity and kindness were without bounds. He exuded a sense of compassion, kindness, security, and in times of crisis, the sense that everything was going to be all right. His deep, comprehensive knowledge of world and U.S. history was incredible, surpassed only by the strength of his beliefs and the depth of love he had to offer those lucky enough to know his heart.

I’m so sorry, I met Ed 30 years ago, my husband Dennis and him worked at Revere together. They shared there passion for guns, we had a small gun shop before my husband passed. Ed was more than a friend to us, he was family. He was the most loving caring person I ever met. My kids adored him. My husband and him spent many hrs talking over coffee and buying guns they were 2 peas in a pod. When my husband passed Ed was there for me and my kids . I could never thank him enough for helping close the gun shop and doing all that it involved . He would stop and check on us to make sure we were ok. He was an amazing person . Fly high Ed I’m sure Dennis and you will be watching over us . Sending prayers to you all, I’m so sorry for you loss.

Dear Marie and family I am deeply saddened by Eds death. He was always such a kind and generous person as well as a dear friend.
