My family loved Dan. My father, Dave Harden, said that there was no one he trusted more than Dan, and he appointed him Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Harden Furniture. At times, though, I wondered how he was able to get any work done-when we were in town, my kids would head for Dan's office and refuse to leave. And he indulged them, because that's who he was. I think of Dan, and I can hear him laughing. And I always think of his incredibly kind nature. He took care of everybody in his orbit. Godspeed, my friend. You will be missed so much, by so many.
