Obituary of Gerald W. Bartlett

Gerald W. “Jerry” Bartlett, 85, of Rome, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Rome Health. Born in Rome on May 26, 1938, he was a son of the late Earl and Caroline (Patterson) Bartlett. He was graduate of Rome Free Academy and on November 29, 1958, he was united in marriage to JoAnn Cimo.

Jerry was a supervisor for Jenny Industries for many years and later went to work for Birnie Bus Co. He really enjoyed his time as a bus driver and loved the kids.

Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time. As they got older, he and his wife loved to travel and visited casinos throughout several states.

Surviving besides his loving wife of 64 years, JoAnn, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Tamara and Francis Lust and Tina and Joe Davis; a son, Timothy Bartlett (Patti); nine grandchildren, Chad Bartlett, Cheyanne Bartlett, Kristen Versace, Kimberly Davidson (Nick), Kari Vescio, Kelsey Twitchell, Caitlyn Davis, Stacey Davis and Lyndsy Davis; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, David Bartlett.
