Obituary of Brendan S. McCormick

Brendan S. McCormick, 46, of Rome, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, at Rome Health. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, on October 28, 1976, a son of Ricky and Andrea (Luzak) McCormick. In 2012 he was united in marriage to Danesha McLeod, the love of his life.

Brendan worked for Felice Moving for many years as a truck driver until recently becoming a self-employed mechanic.

He was a huge fan of all the Philadelphia Eagles and loved horror movies. He was constantly joking and busting people’s chops. He favorite thing to do was spend time surrounded by family.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Danesha, is his mother, Andrea McCormick; two daughters, Shavaia and Tianna; two sons, Ethan and Devon; two sisters, Shannon McCormick and Lauren Smith-Brown; a brother, Shawn McCormick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Ricky, and his beloved dog Jada.
