James Street, Rome, New York, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, New York after a brief illness. She was born February 5, 1933 in New York, New York the daughter of Antonio and Joseph Lauro Cortese. Mrs. Trifeletti was a graduate of New York City schools. She was employed for the DDSO and later was employed by Wal-Mart. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Eda and Robert Bauman, New Hampshire; Donna and Ron Morlan, Ohio; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Laurie Trifeletti, Rome; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Santa and Vinny Saitta, Long Island; Sue Cortese, Rome and eleven grandchildren, Jeremy and Toni Marie Trifeletti, Nicole, Justin and Joey Bauman, Ashley and Zach Morlan, Devon and Derek Trifeletti, Dawn Torkos and Jeffrey Tarbania and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Anthony and two grandsons, Christopher and Jason. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Monday 8:15A.M. and St. John the Baptist Church 9:00A.M. Interment will take place in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 P.M. and 7-9P.M. Sunday.
