Obituary of Bobbi Masters

Roberta A. “Bobbi” Masters, 76,  of Rome, passed away at home on Monday, October 2, 2023, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Utica on September 5, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Reginald and Clara (Grosjean) Wilson. She was a 1965 graduate of Oriskany High School and went on to BOCES to become a phlebotomist. On December 24, 1971, she was united in marriage to Harold “Harry” Masters, a blessed union of over 51 years.

Bobbi was a Senior Phlebotomist for Centrix Labs for many years.

She was member of the Waterbury Memorial Presbyterian Church of Oriskany and she loved her church family. They were so amazing during her time of need.

Surviving besides her loving husband, Harry, are two daughters, Kelly Benoit (Jeff) and Nichole Masters (Keith); two daughters-in-law, Heather Masters and Vern Johnson; a sister, Joan Bianchi; a brother, Reginald Wilson, Jr. (Mavis); seven grandchildren, including Ayden and Broden Masters; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Theodore “Ted” Johnson and Jay Masters; and  a sister, Ginger Plumb.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Waterbury Memorial Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m.. There are no calling hours.
