Obituary of Bonnie M. Skellington

Bonnie M Turk-Skellington 72 of Camden NY passed away Monday September 18, 2023 at Oneida Healthcare Center after courageous battle of cancer with her loving family by her side. Bonnie was born May 29 1951 in Oneida NY to Stanley and Dorcas Turk. Bonnie married Howard J Skellington on May 3rd 1975 in the town of Vienna. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, sewing, watching NASCAR racing and wrestling. Bonnie was a life time member of the North Bay Volunteer Fire Department. Bonnie worked at Oneida Healthcare Center for several Years and Digestive Disease Medicine of Oneida for several years.

Bonnie is survived by her two sons, Stanley (Nancy) Skellington of Canastota Michael Skellington of Camden; one daughter Heidi (Keith) Westcott Sr of Lee Center; nine grandchildren, Chelsea (Kenny), Hunter, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Dawson, Bentley, Logan, Ian and Jessica; great-granddaughter to be born soon named Heavenleigh Rae; three sisters, Patty Turk of Camden, Patricia Turk of Camden and Lorrie (Norman) Wallis of Camden; two brothers, Ronald (Ellen) Turk Sr of Camden and Rick (Julie) Turk of Remsen; and  several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bonnie was predeceased by Stanley and Dorcas Turk and her husband Howard J Skellington.

Special Nephews and friend that was always by her side throughout the entire cancer battle was Ronald (Trisha) Turk III and Ronald Turk Jr.; and  friend of the family Gloria Caroll and Elizabeth Watson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 23^rd at 1:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden NY 13316. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
