Kathleen A. Durr, 72, of Vernon, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford.

She was born on April 28, 1951, in Utica, the daughter of William “Bill” and Donna (Cusworth) Clark.  She was a 1969 graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School.

On July 24, 1993, Kathleen was united in marriage to John “Jack” Durr in Vernon Center.  Jack passed away on February 6, 2019.

Kathleen was previously waitress for G G’s Restaurant and Charlebois.

She enjoyed spending time at the casino and looked forward to her weekly pitch league at the American Legion in Verona.  She also enjoyed her lunches with her girlfriends.

Surviving are two children, Todd (Kim) Webster, of Westernville, and Brianna (Marc) Smith, of Vernon; four grandchildren, Cameron (Stacey), Karlee (Jimmy), Landon and Chase; four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jonathan, Rosalinda, and Jackson; the father of her children, Reginold (Rita) Webster, of Verona; and her best friend, Bernie (Dave) Peck, of Vernon.  Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, and her grandson, Gavyn Webster.

Kathleen’s family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Brehaut and the nurses and staff of the Neurovascular Unit at Faxton-St. Luke’s for the kindness and compassion shown to her.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Saturday, September 16, 2023,  from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
