Name: Doris C. Conley Date of Death: Saturday, March 17, 2007 Residence: Sylvan Beach, NY Age: 67 Obituary: Doris C. Conley, 67, of Sylvan Beach, died March 17, 2007, in Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born July 2, 1939, in Rome, the daughter of Marcellus and Esther Bingham Conley. She was a graduate of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School and the Utica School of Nursing. Doris worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse, including the last several for the DSO in Central Square. She was a member of the New London Methodist Church. She was a dedicated nurse and gave loving care to her clients. She loved her family dearly, especially time shared with her grandchildren and her PT Cruiser. Doris is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Renee and Kenneth Fasolo, New Hartford, and Rebecca Warner, Sylvan Beach; a son, Kevin Abbuhl, Oklahoma; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Clifford Kitchen, Vernon Center; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Jeanette Conley, Verona, and George and Thelma Conley, Sherburne; a daughter-in-law, Jeannine Eckel, Vienna; four grandchildren, Ashley, Cameron, Jacob and Kenny; and several nieces and nephews. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Wednesday at 7pm. Interment will take place in Rathbunnville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7pm.
