Name: Robert Perkins Date of Death: Monday, June 09, 2008 Residence: Manasquan, New Jersey Age: 85 Obituary: Robert Perkins, 85, of Manasquan, New Jersey, formerly of McConnellsville, passed away on June 9, 2008, in Manasquan. He was born on August 8, 1922, in Syracuse, the son of Kenneth and Addie Darrow Perkins. He was a graduate of Camden Central High School. He was united in marriage to Helen Spytz. He was employed as a carpenter for many years. Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II. He was stationed in Germany. While in Manasquan, he was a member of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church. Surviving besides his loving wife, Helen; are a cousin, Betty Deeley; a sister-in-law, Nellie Kozlowski; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Transfiguration Church at 10:00 AM where the Rev. Mark A. Pasik will officiate. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Taberg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
