Bickford, Jr., 52, of Webster, NY, formerly of Rome, passed away on May 24, 2008, following a long illness with his loving family at his side. He was born on June 28, 1955, in Rome, the son of Richard L. and Teresa Foley Bickford, Sr. He attended Rome Catholic High School. On May 24, 1975, he was united in marriage to Kimberly Russo in Rome. Richard was a telecommunications consultant for over twenty-five years. Surviving besides his loving wife of thirty-three years; are three daughters and sons-in-laws, Carrie and Michael Scharrer, of Lauf, Germany, Lisa Bickford and Dean Tonas, of Webster, and Shawn and Alfred Terilli, of Carbondale, CO; a son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Erica Owens, of Rome; two sisters and brothers-in-laws, Susan and Fred Tyler, of Rome, and Jane and Frank Gowett, of Taberg; nine grandchildren, Kaileb, Alexandra, Marianna, Luka, Elias, Connor, Zoie, Ephram, and Isaac; and several nieces and nephews.
