Cousin Linda,
It seems like a lifetime ago that I spent my summers at your house in Ava. Helping with the milking, delivering to the dairy, breaking beaver dams, hunting woodchucks and making hay were the working part of the summer. The pure joy of being on the farm with your Mom & Dad was a very enriching part of my childhood. People always ask where I grew up and why my values seem so much different than most people. You know what I mean. I lost my Mom three years before you did, but together we share the gifts and values that they taught us. Now at 65 I think back about the value of growing up in the middle of nowhere. I miss my East Coast family, but if you are ever in California, come and visit. I will always love you and will always love your beautiful Mom & Dad. Thanks so much for sharing them with me.

Dear Aunt Julia, I will always love you. With your smile you always brought fun and joy to everything you did. Living a simple life, you were a role model for me to this day. From when I was a little boy visiting in your kitchen to the later years of family get togethers I loved the time I spent with you. I will always love you, JD Mondrick

Linda and Jim, Just wanted you to know that even though we cannot be there, you are in our thoughts and prayers. You have been so very blessed to have such a wonderful mother. My recent conversations with her before her illness were so very special. She gave me so many wonderful memories in those summers we spent together and I will always cherish the time I was able to be with her. Aunt Julie made the world a better place. She will be missed and always loved.
