I will miss Aunt Pat and want to extend my sympathies to Uncle Art, Jack, Marilyn, Rick, Jim and Tricia. I have had many fond memories of our times together as a family both in Oakland, NJ and in Rome NY. Most of them revolved around our pool or the times on the lake in Rome. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. My memories of her will live on.

Uncle Art and Family, I was so sorry to hear the sad news. I will always remember my Aunt Pat as a gracious and loving person. After we moved to California in 1953 the high-light of our summer trips back to Rochester was when we would stop in Park Forest for a visit with our Aunt Pat & Uncle Art. You are all in my prayers. May my Dear Aunt Pat rest in peace. Love, Pammy

Life is much like a wonderful ''scrapbook'' that reflects precious memories over many years. Pat''s life should be celebrated and cherished by her loved ones and many friends. I still look across the street and think of the May family, treasure each memory, and reflect on the rich love in that home. God bless each one of the family members (especially Art and the children)as they can certainly be proud of Pat''s ''scrapbook''.

I can''t believe she is gone. I first met Pat so many years ago when she moved to Post Avenue in Rochester and became my classmate and my friend. We attended St. Augustine School on Chili Avenue and Nazareth Academy where we shared so many friendships, especially our dearest friend Kathleen Quinlan whom we lost just a few months ago. We spent a lot of time with our many neighborhood friends at the corner of Rugy Avenue and Arnett Blvd. just chatting and enjoying a Frosted Malted from the neighborhood shop. Was it coincidence that Art May lived just a few doors down Rugby Avenue? Pat met the love of her life in our special neighborhood. I have missed her through the years as she and Art moved from place to place where Art was working. But we stayed in touch and remained "best friends" until just a few days ago. Thanks for being my friend, Pat. May God bless you and Art and your precious family. Until we meet again. Leenie Leenie

I haven''t seen Pat since we moved from Park Forest Illinois, where the Mays were our next door neighbors and she was "Mrs. May," my best friend Jack''s mom. She''ll be frozen in my memory as a 1950s mom, inviting us into her house, looking after us as we played outside, and doing all the things moms were supposed to do. Good memories of a happy time and a good woman. My sincere sympathies to "Mr. May", Jack and all the family.

Dear Art and Family, Thank you so much for letting us know about Pat''s passing. To say the least, she will be missed. We had so much fun with her. She was a real joy - and such a good cook! Our double dates in the early years were always great. She was such fun that one time we gave her the nickname of "Nutsy". She laughed along with us. Our trips to Lake Monticello will always be remembered with great joy. How lucky we were to get together again after all those years.

We will miss Grandma May very much. She livened up any room, made you glad to be there, and always made you smile. As a grandmother she scared us straight with stories and pulled any and all loose teeth. I''ll miss her voice, stories, working crossword puzzles with her, and just enjoying being around her.

I am so sorry to see my "Aunt Patsy" go. She always made me feel like she was glad to see me in the way she would say "Hi, Lanny." Except for one time when I was 4, I sneaked into her bedroom when she was still living with Grampa and Gramma Roland, and I rearranged a few items on her dresser. She "knew" that someone had been in there, and went on a mock "warpath" that I thought was real at the time. It''s always amazing the moments you never forget.

We will miss Aunt Pat! We loved her laugh, which was hearty and contagious. She really knew how to appreciate the "joy" of the moment. We will always treasure the wonderful memories and be grateful we are family. May the Lord give you strength to celebrate her life as you bid her farewell for a season. All our love.
