Shocked and saddened to hear of Bruce's passing.The memories of working with him at the station and carshows come flooding back.You always told me outside of your comic books all you collected was memories,and that you did leave behind to all of us. I do recall your funny comments so many times of the final spaghetti dinner. Soar high my friend and in your honor I will always remember you when I hear Seasons In The Sun. So sad to hear of Bruce's passing especially when the Bills are finally a great team again! He will have to watch the playoffs from on high and I'm sure he will. We shared many great memories over the years. My condolences to Dori and the rest of the family. 2020 has been a bear of a year!

It is with regret that I acknowledge the passing of Bruce Melnick from life. On multiple occasions, over the years, I encountered Bruce while he was out & about as VIPS Chief; the eyes & ears of RPD. Bruce was always personable; professional. We will be hard pressed, as a community, to have another “Volunteer” so dedicated to the safety of our families and community. A profound thank you to Bruce for everything he did & attempted to do for our community. Indeed, Bruce was a Very Important Person. My sincere regards to his family.

"The Doc of 70's Rock"... Bruce Melnick brought music and laughter to the air waves of CNY with "The 70's Saturday Night"...
He slung drinks and spun tunes at the Rhine Haus and was responsible for for my meeting my wife!
He was the first advertising sale I had when I was doing radio, and sponsored every charity I ever brought to him...
A loving and genuine friend, father and DJ, my kids called him "Uncle Fuzzy"...
Farewell and Rest in Peace Bruce, you will be missed...

I first met Bruce when he bought the Rhine Haus. We became close friends and that friendship developed into a brotherhood. Meester, you will always be my brother. Till Valhalla.

I’m so sorry to hear the sad news. I remember Bruce as a very engaging guy and we had several discussions about Buffalo and other things when we were at RCH ... In more recent times it was great to speak on the phone with Bruce when I was a” weather” guest a couple of times on the WKAL morning show ... My dad knew Bruce and the crew at Rheinhaus ... I would like to extend my condolences to the whole family ! R.I.P. Bruce
