She was born May 4, 1929 in Utica the daughter of Rowe and Clara Kahler Brown. Doris was educated in Utica. She was employed at St. John the Baptist Church rectory retiring in 1974 due to ill health. She was a member of Rome Y.M.C.A. and the Health and Hope Club. Surviving are two sisters and one brother-in-law, Clara Marshman, San Lorenzo, California; Mary Jane and Martin Lindfield, Utica; four brothers, Rowe Brown, Utica; Chester Brown, Hauppauge; Robert Brown, Woodstock, Georgia; Daniel Brown, Utica; a special friend and caregiver, Donna Perry, with whom she resided; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Rosemary Koperda and Betty Feisthmal. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Wednesday at 7:00P.M.
