Thomas Street, Rome, New York, died Monday, March 26, 2007 in Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born July 15, 1922 on the family farm in Beekmantown, New York the daughter of Rolland and Catherine Gebo Loso. Mae was educated in Beekmantown. On December 1, 1951 she married Stuart Warren Cowan. He died in November, 1992. She was previously married to the late Lorn Trombley, Sr. Mrs. Cowan was a member of St. Mary's Church. Mae was an avid Bingo player. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Ronald Longacre, Goshen, Indiana; Linda and Richard Lighthall, Rome; three sons and two daughters- in-law, Frank and Patricia Trombley, Goose Creek, South Carolina; Morland and Margie Trombley, Virginia Beach, Virginia; Lorn Trombley, Jr., Skaneateles, New York; three sisters, Alice Duprey, Grace Melioris and Lorraine Nelson, all of Rome; nine grand- children, Kimberly and John Rankin, Christopher and Cheryl Trombley, Heather and Troy Hines, Sarah and Bobby Ison, Jeffrey Trombley, Brad and Kelly Longacre, Elizabeth Longacre, Christina Westcott, Daniel and Tanya Lighthall, fifteen great- grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Adon, Robert, III, Jared, Emily, Samantha, Carson, Brody, Katie Lynn, Lilly Rose, Brandon, Shyane, Sierra and Tyler (her two special angels), several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mae was predeceased by her brother, Robert Loso and grandchildren, Adam Matthew Trombley, Julie Michelle Longacre and Robert Taylor, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Friday 6:00P.M. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3:00P.M. to 6:00P.M. Friday.
