Name: William Ross Date of Death: Friday, February 03, 2006 Residence: Rome NY Age: 72 Obituary: William (Bill) Ross, 72, of 7A Martin Court, Taberg, died February 3, 2006 at University Hospital, Syracuse. He was born July 9, 1933 in Syracuse, a son of William and Frances Storrer Ross. Mr. Ross was educated in Morrisville schools. On September 20, 1969, he married Dorothy Lipphardt in Taberg. Bill was a self-employed roofer. Surviving besides his wife are six daughters, Christine Brodock, Taberg, Jamie and Dennis Roberts, Blossvale, Billie-Jean and James Merchant, Rome, Tammy and Ronald LaGasse, Blossvale, Ginny Millson, Sherrill, Amy-Jo Parker, VT; four sons, Gregory and Kelly Ross, Terry Ross, Timmy and Cindy Ross, all of New London, Thomas and Jackie Ross, Taberg; one sister, Donna Heuslein, East Fairfield, VT; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, William Ross, III and James Brodock; two brothers, Albert Ross and John H. Ross; and one sister, Barbara Sweeney. Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 a.m., at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
