Premo, 61, of Rome, passed away January 30, 2007, in Rome Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was born November 21, 1945, in Rome, the son of Charles and Marion Dorr Premo. He was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. In 1975 he married Joanne Torrick. Harry served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Surviving besides his mother, Marion, are a daughter, Carol Ann Premo; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Jennifer Premo, Rome; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Paula Beckwith, Michigan, and Ruth and Carl Berkowitz, Pennsylvania; 4 brothers and three sisters-in-law, Charles and Jessie Premo Jr., Rome, Robert and Carol Premo, Rome, Jon and Elizabeth Premo, Glens Falls, and Tom Premo, Waterviliet; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul. Services: Funeral services will be held on Friday at TBA at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7pm.
