Narolis, 53, of Lee Center, died February 1, 2007, in Kingston Hospital after a brief illness. He was born May 21, 1953, in Rome, the son of Mela and Helen Brzuszkiewicz Narolis. He was a 1971 graduate of Camden Central High School. On August 23, 1980, he married Patricia Hyde in St. Joseph's Church in Lee Center. Steve worked for over 23 years at Central New York Psychiatric Center, retiring in 2003. He previously worked for Nunn's Ambulance Service and Camden Wire Company. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Lee Center. Steve was also a member of the Lee Center Volunteer Fire Department, a former member of the Taberg Volunteer Fire Department, Meeker O'Rourke Sons of the American Legion, the I.O.O.B. Mudflats #191 of Camden. Steve was an avid card player and loved fishing, country music, karaoke, cooking football, Polish music, NASCAR, DIRT Racing and his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Melissa Narolis, Lee Center; a son, Timothy Narolis and Colleen Griffin, Rome; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Jeffrey Smith, Taberg, and Sandra and Joseph Maloney, Rome; Two brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Kay Narolis, Blossvale, and Randall and Pietra Narolis, Stanwix; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Joan Hyde, Rome, Timothy and Starr Hyde, Ava, and Betty Narolis, Rome; two grandsons, Kohlby and Noah; goddaughter, Judy Scott; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brother, David Narolis. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, at 10:45am and St. Joseph's Church at 11:30am. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Services: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, at 10:45am and St. Joseph's Church at 11:30am.
