Stedman, 93, of 5531 Brookfield Rd., Lee Center, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007 in Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born October 18, 1913 in Rome the daughter of Albert and Mary Claire George. Mrs. Stedman was a graduate of the Academy of Holy Names. She was married to Jack Stedman. He died in 1987. Mrs. Stedman was employed at the Rome Developmental Center for ten years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church Lee Center, Lee Seniors and the South Rome Senior Citzens. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Marilyn Pfifer, Deptford, New Jersey; Debbie and Gary Cadrette, Sommersville, New Jersey; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tom and Nancy Stedman, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Lonnie Stedman and special friend, Pam Schuler, Oneida; Brian and Holly Stedman; with whom she resided; one sister, Bev Goux, Rome; two brothers, Kenny George, Rome; Erving George, Oneida; seventeen grandchildren, Jeff, Chris, Megan, Jillian, Matt, Holly,Chris, Carrie, Michael, Desirra`, Azura, Jason, Sara, Todd, Ian, Lily, Austin, two great-grandchildren, Samantha, Logan, several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Ida and Mary. She was predeceased by her loving son, Richard (Ned) Stedman and cherished grandson, Colby. Services: A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church Saturday,10:30A.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements by the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome.
