"Yogi" Allen, Jr., 45, of Lorena Road, Rome, died January 8, 2007 in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Utica. He was born December 15, 1961 in Rome, the son of William and Gladys Gauthier Allen, Sr. Mr. Allen attended Rome schools. On March 23, 2000, he married Lillian Drake. He was employed by EMI, Rome. Surviving besides his wife are three sons, William, III, Todd (Nicole), and Brandon, all of Rome; four stepsisters, Patty Cullop, Lee Sheppard, Kelly Keene, "special stepsister," Diane Evans, all of Rome; one stepbrother, Roger "Digger" Russell, Louisana; one cherished grandson, Todd Michael, Jr.; a special friend, Marty Carstarphen, Rome; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., Friday at 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
