Nobis, 56, of 9471 Glenmore Road, Taberg, New York, died Monday, January 1, 2007 at her residence after a courageous seven year battle with cancer. She was born January 31, 1950 in Munnsville the daughter of Arthur and Mary Senius Jacobs. Irene was a high school graduate of Utica schools. On October 9, 1970 she married John P. Nobis in St. Patrick's Church, Taberg. Irene was a member of St. Patrick's Church Surviving besides her devoted husband John and her loving children are two daughters, Katherine and Stacie Nobis, one son, Frank Nobis, all of Taberg; two sisters and one brother- In-law, Sophie Albright, Utica; Theresa and Michael Devino, Tennessee; one brother and Sister-in-law, Frank and Agnes Jacobs, Utica; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Irene; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, John W. Nobis.. Funeral will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street Rome, Friday 9:15A.M. and St. Patrick's Church Taberg 10:OOA.M. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM Services: Funeral will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N.
