Lake St., North Bay, passed away July 8, 2006 at her home after a long illness. She was born November 9, 1946 in Rome the daughter of Frank and Olive Joslin Armstrong and was educated in Blossvale Schools. From 1971 until 1997 Bessie lived in Florida before moving to the North Bay area. She was last employed at Esco Turbine Technologies in Syracuse as an assembly worker. Surviving are one son, Duane Craven, a grandson, Austin Craven, both of Tampa, FL, one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Kenneth Fox, North Bay, four brothers and three sisters-in-law, John and Sally Congden, McConnellsville, James Armstrong, Taberg, Benjamin and Debbie Armstong, McConnellsville, Tom and Lori Armstrong, Woodville, TX, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters Marjorie Kopec, Frances Webster and Avena Evans. In keeping with the wishes of Bessie, there will be no funeral services.
