Myers, 69, of 9892 Mill St., Westernville, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Rome Memorial Hospital, after a long illness with her loving family at her side. She was born March 10, 1938, in Rome, the daughter of Lloyd H. and Mary Rogers Gillett. She was a graduate of Holland Patent School. She married Arthur Williams in June 30, 1956, in Westernville. He died March 29, 1982. On February 14, 1986, she married Russell Myers in Westernville. He died February 4, 1998. She was employed at Marcy Psychiatric Hospital for 14 years, retiring in 1976 due to disability. Eva was a member of the Henry P. Smith Post Ladies Auxiliary and was formerly a volunteer with the Donald J. Mitchell VA Clinic in Rome. Survived by a daughter Dorothy Williams, Floyd; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Arthur Williams, Lloyd and Sylvia Williams, of Fayetteville, NC, Scott and Sally Williams, Ava, and Robin Williams and special companion Irene Loisell, North Western; two sisters and a brother-in-law Arlene Flick, Steuben, and Janet and Henry Schreiner Jr., Holland Patent; four step-daughters, Juanita Myers, Westernville, Denise Francescone, Linda DesMarias, and Christl Smith, all of Rome; and a step-son Russell Myers, Jr., Rome. Eva is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, five greatchildren, and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Eva's family would like to extend a special gratitude to Dr. Kadura, Dr. Sullivan, the nursing staff at 2 East of Rome Hospital, and the Westernville Volunteer Fire Department for the kindness and compassion they showed to her during her long illness. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Interment Carmichael Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, May 10, 2007 from 5-8 PM.
