Joe was born on October 30, 1918 in Bayonne, New Jersey, the son of Thomas and Rose Kuklis. He graduated from Verona High School in 1936 and worked on his parents' farm. Joe bought a farm in Churchville and was partners with his brother, John. He was a successful farmer. Joe will be remembered for his gentle spirit and love of animals. He was a communicant of Transfiguration Church. Joe is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward and Mary, Frank, three nephews and three nieces, Maria Tyksinski, John Browka, Jr., Patricia Rossiter, Thomas Browka, Melanie Angell, Edward Browka and several great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Jeannette Browka. Funeral will be held Friday at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome 9:15A.M. and Transfiguration Church 10:00A.M. Interment St. Mary's Memorial Cemetery, Durhamville. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Memorial Contributions may be made in Joe's memory to Transfiguration Church Memorial Fund or the Rome Humane Society.
