Dibble, 74, of Taberg, NY, died April 13, 2007, at Rome Memorial Hospital after being stricken at home. She was born November 30, 1932, in Gouveneur, NY, the daughter of Earl and Geneva Gillette Parow. She was educated in Gouveneur schools. On October 31, 1948, she married Arthur Cobey. He died in 1972. Hilda later married James E. Dibble. He passed away in 1981. Hilda was a home health aid for several years. She was also a member of the Rome Moose Club. She is survived by two daughters, Luann Bleyer, of North Carolina, and Sheila Walker and Mike Coffin, of Oneida; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Richard and Carol Cobey, of Camden, Gary and Tammy Cobey, of Texas, and Keith and Donna Cobey, of Camden; a sister, Frieda Mason, of Sackets Harbor, NY; a brother, Carl Parow, of Gouveneur, NY; a sister-in-law, Betty Parow, of North Fork, NY; a very special friend, John Pope; a special nephew, Robert Parow, of Morrisville, NY; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Hilda was predeceased by a son, Allen Cobey. Services: Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1pm at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
