Wal, 53, of 518 Aspen Drive, Lombard, Illinois, formerly of Rome, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in Chicago, Illinois. He was born September 18, 1952 in Utica, New York the son of Raymond and Arlene Furgol Wal. He was a graduate of Oriskany High School, Northeastern University and received his MBA from Northern Illinois. Mr. Wal owned and operated Wal Solutions. Larry was a diehard Syracuse University football and basketball fan. He also enjoyed golfing with his family and friends. Surviving are one sister and brother-In-Law, Krystine A and Glenn Russell, Cicero, maternal grandmother, Helen Furgol, Rome; stepfather, Paul Smith, Clinton and two step-brothers and sister-in-law, Gary Smith, Greene, New York, Nicholas and Jackie Smith, Clinton, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome, Tuesday at 9:30am and Transfiguration Church at 10am. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7pm Monday. Contributions in Larry's memory maybe made to the American Cancer Association. Services: Calling hours Monday 4-7pm Funeral services Tuesday 9:30am at the funeral home and 10am at Transfiguration Church
