Dominick Street, Rome, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 of natural causes with his family at his side. He was born August 2, 1955 in Norfolk, England the son of Milton and Mary Mounds Schwendeman. On August 5, 1995 he married Linda Babis in Cleveland, Ohio. Walt was a cook at several area restaurants. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Walt was a member of the Henry P. Smith Post of the American Legion. Surviving besides his wife are his mother, Mary Fobel, Cleveland; three daughters Angela Powell, Rome; Jennifer Schwendeman, Minnesota; Nina Powell, Wisconsin, five sons, Jeremy Schwendeman, Minnesota; Robert Powell, Jr. and Bonnie Jo Burtchell, A.J. Schwendeman and Natalie Young, Jerry Schwendeman, Jacob Schwendeman, all of Rome; two sisters, Janice Kizzee and Barbara Harp, both of Cleveland; four brothers, Chuck O'Brien, Dale Schwendeman, John Fobel, Jamie Fobel, all of Cleveland; and seven grandchildren, Ariel, Crystal, Brandon, Alix, Jerome, Devon and Emily.
