Name: Louis F. "Lou" Manuele Date of Death: Monday, February 26, 2007 Residence: Blossvale, NY Age: 80 Obituary:Louis F. (Lou) Manuele, 80, of Deeley Road, Blossvale, died February 26, 2007 at his residence, after a long illness. He was born July 3, 1926 in Rome, a son of Joseph and Rose Favata Manuele. He was educated in Rome schools. On June 23, 1951, he married Jean Lockhart in Rome. Mr. Manuele worked at Don Davidson Chevrolet and had previously worked at LaMonica Motors and Ryan Motors. He served in the US Navy during World War II, in the Pacific Theatre. Lou was a member of St. John's Church. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Joseph Manuele, William Manuele and partner Shay O'Brien, all of Blossvale; three grandchildren, Jessica, Kristina, and Kyle; one great-grandson, Harley; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vinzetta and John Hedrington, Rose and Leo Vaccaro, all of Rome; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Vita Manuele, Rome; a sister-in-law, Mary Manuele, Rome and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two daughters, Rosemarie Reid and Christine Manuele; a sister, Anna Vacheresse and a brother Salvatore Manuele. Services: Funeral services will be held at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St. on Thursday TBA and St. John's Church TBA. Interment St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
