Name: Howard Antoine Bodway Date of Death: Saturday, February 24, 2007 Residence: Camden, NY Age: 72 Obituary: Howard Antoine Bodway of Masonic Avenue, Camden passed away, Saturday, February 24, 2007 at home at the age of 72 after a long illness. He was born in Athol,MA. On June 7, 1934 he was the only child of Howard Antoine, Sr. and Elsie Elizabeth LaMay Bodway. Howard graduated from Franklin Academy, Malone, New York, where he was affectionately known as Freddie. He was an avid athlete who played school baseball,basketball and was captain of the football team. He also attended Cornell University, LeMoyne College and Syracuse University. Howard was a passionate Boy Scout receiving its highest ranking of Eagle Scout He was involved with the scouts his whole life. On August 1, 1959 he married Rosalyn Marie Tupper in Malone, New York. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa and Thomas Jacobson, Colorado Springs, CO, Lori Johnson, Conroe, TX; one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Tomasa Bodway, Sylvan Beach; six grandchildren, Seth, Gabriel, Emily, Abigail, Michael and Jordan; and special friend and companion of twenty years, Marilyn McTiernan. Howard retired from his own wholesale business at the early age of 40 and pursued a career in real estate. He was a thirty-year member of St. Mary's Church, Verona Beach. Howard's surviving loved ones would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Robert Burdick of Sherrill, New York for his faithful care and guidance over the years. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt 13, Camden Tuesday 11:15A.M. and St. John's Church, North Bay at 12:00P.M Interment McConnellsville Cemetery.
