Obituary:Kara R. Mororui, 20, of 113 River Street, Rome, New York died Friday, December 16, 2005 at Rome Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born February 17, 1985 in Silver Spring, Maryland the daughter of Jesse and Elaine Burley Mororui.
Kara was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and attended Mohawk Valley Community College. She was very artistic and expressed her talent through her drawing and writing. Kara was very loving to her family and a caring and compassionate friend to many. She always found the good in everyone.
Surviving are her parents Elaine and her special friend, Stan Borek and Jesse and his special friend, Diane Dunham, Kara's son, Matthew Daniel,a paternal grandfather, Dr. D. Carleton Gajdusek, Amsterdam, Netherlands;a maternal grandmother, Margaret Burley, Westernville; an honorary grandmother, Kristin Masters, Westernville; several aunts and uncles, Clarence and Colleen Burley, Rome; Barbara and David McCauley, Little Falls; Ken and Barb Burley, Carolyn and Bob Michik, and Sarah and Mike Finley, all of Rome; cousins, Brian Burley, Melanie and Shaun Patrick, Andrew and Eileen Michik, Mickey , Elizabeth and Danielle Finley, an aunt , cousins and her extended family on Fais Island in Micronesia.
Kara was an artist who loved music, drawing and writing. She especially loved her family and was caring and compassionate to all.
Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street Tuesday 7:00P.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M.
