Ramsey, 79, Rome, died Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Siegenthaler Hospice Center, New Hartford, New York after a long illness with her beloved family at her side. She was born October 8, 1926 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada the daughter of Michael and Mimi Guitard DiNardo. Lola was a graduate of Montreal schools. On August 4, 1983 she married Lt. Col. Robert Ramsey in Shreveport, Louisiana. He died February 8, 1984. She owned and operated Lola's Beauty Boutique for thirty-five years retiring in 1981 . Lola was a member of Rome Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Theresa Trento, Ginette and Frank Griffo, all of Rome; Manon and Wayne Nichols, Utica; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Margaret DiNardo, Rome; several nieces and nephews, including two special nieces, Susan Sharpe, Marcy; Maria Ramos, Rome and a special nephew, Michael Campanaro, Rome. She was predeceased by a sister, Ninette Campanaro, and two brothers, Frank and Peter DiNardo. Funeral services will be held at the Rome Christian Missionary Alliance Church Wednesday at a time to be announced. Interment St. John's Cemetery.
