(Ace) Wilson, Jr., 71, of Rome, died Saturday, November 26, 2005 in Betsy Ross Nursing Facility after a long illness. He was born May 4, 1934, in Rome, the son of Achus H. and Mabel Dorval Wilson, Sr. He was educated in Rome schools. Ace was a cook for several area restaurants before retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Rome. Ace coached for the Rome National Little League and Rome Women's Softball League for many years. He is survived by his three children, Achus H. Wilson III, Hancock, NY, daughter and son-in-law, Georgianna and Keith Younglove, Rome, and son Alexsander Wilson, Rome; his first wife, Rosemary Wilson, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and his second wife, Helen Wilson, all of Rome. Ace was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Alexsander Wilson, and his sister, Mary Montabano. His family will receive friends and family at 100 E. Garden Street, Rome Thursday 5:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome. Services: Family will be receiving friends on Thurs. 5-8pm at 100 E. Garden St.
