"WildBill" Waxler, 49, of 9016 Sunrise Drive, Rome, New York, died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the Rome Memorial Hospital after being stricken at home. He was born September 16, 1956 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of Carl and Donna Purdum Waxler. Bill was a graduate of Zanesville High School. On February 26, 1993 he married Gail Sessions in Floyd. Bill was employed by Patrick Heating Company. He served with the United States Air Force for twenty years retiring in 1995. Mr. Waxler was a member of the Utica Ziyara Shriners. Surviving besides his wife are his parents of Zanesville; three daughters, twins, Christina and Jennifer Waxler, Cynthia Waxler,all of Rome; one step-daughter, Cindy Retcho and her husband, Tom, New Windsor, New York; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Susan Savage; Beverly and Fred Dove, all of Holland, Ohio; Patricia and Brian Woodard, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Marsha Waxler, Zanesville and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Brandon. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Thursday 1030A.M. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 5:00P.M. to 8:00P.M.
