She was born August 20, 1952 in Cortland, NY, a daughter of Mervin and Mary Moore Brame. Marlene was a graduate of Homer High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. She was employed at Oneida Ltd. Silversmiths for several years, retiring due to disability. Marlene enjoyed reading, book clubs, sewing and knitting. Surviving are her father Mervin Brame; the father of her boys, Peter Bonacci; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Peter and Shawn Bonacci, Jr., Independence, Oregon, Shawn Bonacci, Rome; one sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Daniel Kelley, East Freetown, NY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Ruth Brame, Marathon, NY, Mervin and Felecia Brame II, Dryden, NY; one grandson, Damien Bonacci; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Interment Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m Contributions in Marlene's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Services: Calling hours 4-pm Wed.
