(Buster) Stagner, 81, of Blossvale, died April 4,2007, at his home after a long illness. He was born September 6, 1925, in the Town of Vienna, the son of Earl and Myrtle Duvall Stagner, Sr. He was educated in Camden schools. On September 21, 1946, he married Beverly Prosser in the New London Methodist Church. Buster worked at Jay's Sales and Service in Blossvale for over 50 years, retiring in 1992. He also spent many years as a 4-H Leader. Surviving besides his wife, are two daughters and a son-in-law, Gloria and James Hatzinger, of Blossvale, and Jo-Ann Reed, of Rome; a sister, Beverly Scott, of Blossvale; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, James and Marge, of Vernon, Kenneth and Kathryn, of Blossvale, Donald and Ann, of Blossvale, Henry, of Blossvale, and Jerry and Carol Ann, of Blossvale; eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; a very special friend, Sandy Palen, of Blossvale; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Buster was predeceased by a sister, Margaret (Mickey) Luce. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12pm at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Interment will take place in McConnellsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-3pm and 6-8pm. Contributions in Buster's memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., the Alzheimer's Association, or the New London Methodist Church.
