"Always Walk in Beauty"
Always walk in beauty, as the garden
Of life spreads itself as an
Offering beneath your
Weary feet
Treading lightly as you go, delicately
Weaving your way through hopes
And dreams that only
Your eyes can see,
Only your footsteps can feel
Gathering along the way, those
Memories of love and tenderness
Discriminately choosing which
Are needed for your journey
Carrying the beauty with you
As though wildflowers, a bouquet
Nestled contently within
Your arms,
Until the walk is shortened,
Ending soon
But then, continuing on, further still
Quickening the gathering
Its relevance more meaningful now
Perceiving an even greater beauty
That will be found,
Rejoicing now
Within the gardens of "home."
