Willson, 83, of Lee Center, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 12, 2007 at Rome Memorial Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was born October 10, 1923 to Homer and Anna Breiteneauer Willson in the Town of Lee. Mrs. Willson was united in marriage to Donald G. Willson on October 6, 1945. He died on February 20, 1985. She was an active member of the Lee Center United Methodist Church, she especially enjoyed the local missions of the United Methodist Women and was also a member of the Lee Center Senior Citzens. Bertha took great pride in caring for her home and her loving family. She was a great example to all who knew her. Surviving are one daughter, Bonnie Willson McCormick, Rome; a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Gina Willson, Lee Center; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one on the way, nephews, nieces, including a special niece, Bette Sherman, brothers and sisters-in-law, and her faithful canine companion, Rocky. She was predeceased by her husband, her first born son, Kenneth Willson and grand- Daughter,Holly McCormick. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Monday 1:00P.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 7-9 P.M. Sunday.
