She was born July 22, 1942 in Camden the daughter of Elwin and Reta Hanney Walker. Emma Jean was educated in Camden. On December 9, 1960 she married Ronald Lipphardt in Halstead, Pennsylvania. She was employed at Stonehedge Nursing Home for several years and was previously employed by the Rome Home. Surviving are her husband, Ronald, one daughter and son-in-law, Uvonka and John Calvani, Rome; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald Mortis, Rome; William Mortis, Prescott, Arizona; Ronald and Sharon Lipphardt, Charlotte, North Carolina; Robert Lipphardt, Rome; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Alice Cornell, Ethel and Patrick Finley, all of Rome; one brother, Arthur Walker, Taberg; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Wishart and a brother, Elwin Walker. Services: Funeral services will be held Sunday 4:00P.M.at the Nunn and Harper Funeral home, Inc., 418 N.
